After just one 20 minute appointment at one of our professional tanning studios, you’ll have a complete makeover and the best part? It’s guilt free. There are no UV lights or harmful rays used in our sunless solution application. Our proprietary blushtan® solution comes in a variety of custom undertones with a variety of color depths within each shade. With each color consultation, your natural coloring is taken into consideration before a tailored tone is created just for you.

blushtan® solution was created in partnership with an industry specific lab and was developed (and is enjoyed!) to double as a skincare treatment. Taking a gentle, yet calculated, approach our short ingredient list begins with water and follows with a few skin nourishing and chemical-free elements. The original tan is a great choice for late evening appointments as this option requires a minimum of 10-12 hours of uninterupted developing time (no contact with liquid, sweating or tight clothing) before rinsing.

Short on time? The express tan allows you to rinse just 4-6 hours after your appointment. Shower in 4 hours for a light glow, 5 hours after for a medium tan, or after 6 hours for a deeper result. Results will be fully developed in 24 hours.

sunless tanning - how an airbrush tan works

Unlike UV tanning, a sunless tan is created using DHA (Dihydroxyacetone acetone) or as we call it, “the active tan ingredient.” no harmful rays are necessary to create a gorgeous fake tan as dha reacts with the top layer of the skin to create a golden brown. the tan is temporary because it is only on the top layer of skin cells and will fade as your skin cells turn over, a very natural process. our tan extending products also contain dha and are the best way to extend the life of your spray tan.

so what makes our spray tan solution unique? all dha comes from sugar, but ours is the highest quality dha on the market. the dha included in each blushtan™ is derived from beets that have been organically harvested. this combined with a gentle water base allows us to tan all clients, even those with the most sensitive skin, breastfeeding and pregnant moms included.
